Traditional dance from the archives<\/h2>\n

[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”3.12″ text_font=”||||||||” text_text_color=”#191919″ text_line_height=”2em”]The initiative \u2018Great grandfather\u2019s dance moves\u2019 builds on exploring and using archives and archival material. In addition, the initiative will also contribute to exploring identity, history, and tradition through the variety of dance and music in traditional dance and music.
\nThrough these workshops, we want to convey some of the rich and valuable material from Hordaland to children and young people through reflection, testing and movement, and by involvement in and use of material from the archives. Furthermore, we want to give participants the opportunity to test out and practise collecting their own dance and music material. They are thus able to practise seeing, for instance, traditional dance in another light.
